A.G. Brownell Store

A.G. Brownell Store. Brownell’s store was allegedly located on Horseneck Road near East Beach Road. The 1895 map of Westport shows “Geo. Brownell” located at the corner of Horseneck and East Beach Roads, and the photo shows field and water behind the stone wall on either side of the store, all of which supports that location.
