Saturday, October 26 10:00-2:00, 202 Hix Bridge Road, Westport
(Rain date Sunday October 27)
Ghosts, goblins, witches, and skeletons have taken over Westport’s historic Handy House! The air is filled with spooky spirits up to no good. Evil spirits have poisoned Dr. Handy’s healing potions. Can you help him create magical remedies to cure his patients? This year’s popular Halloween program organized by the Westport Historical Society offers children and their families a chance to make some magical tools to ward off those evil spirits. Come in costume! Suggested donation $5 per family.
For the month of October, families can explore the Halloween Trail to locate some magical ravens and break the evil spell. Read the story, walk the trail, and perform the spell breaker! Entrance is off the Handy House visitor parking lot on Hix Bridge Rd. FREE, open for the month of October, dawn to dusk.
