What: An informal history group open to all. Each program includes one or two topics relating to local history, ongoing research, or personal reminiscences.
When: 10 AM on the first Thursday of each month November – March

Peggi Medeiros, author of the recently published book “New Bedford Mansions” will discuss some of the connections between Westport and New Bedford, including the astonishing rags to riches story of John Avery Parker– once warned to leave Westport, he went on to become one of the wealthiest men in New Bedford!
