Explore the surprising connections of Freemasonry to the American Revolution and view some special artifacts relating to a Founding Father of this nation! Prominent Freemasons during the Revolutionary War included George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, and Paul Revere. The U.S. Constitution reflected Masonic ideals such as equality, freedom of speech, and religious tolerance. Brad Brightman will provide an overview of the history of Freemasonry, as well as highlighting the history of the Noquochoke Masonic Lodge (founded in 1878) and its charter members. Free.
