Cleaning and Preserving Gravestones Hands-on Workshop

At Westport Point Cemetery

Learn the basics of cleaning stones with D/2 biological solution, which is not harmful to the stones nor the environment. Hands on training will take place at the Westport Point Cemetery. D/2 Biological Solution and water will be supplied.
It is hoped that some of the attendees who are trained will become trainers themselves of volunteer groups that will elect to clean gravestones at the town cemeteries of Beech Grove, Linden Grove and Maple Grove. It will also be possible to clean stones in other smaller burial plots around Westport.
