The Story of Aime and Rita Lafrance presented by Richard Lafrance
A short business meeting will be followed by a program highlighting the legacy of a prominent local French Canadian family. Richard Lafrance presents the story of Aime and Rita Lafrance who in 1946 bought the White Spa, a diner on Pleasant Street in Fall River. Over many decades they expanded the six-booth diner to encompass a small empire. White’s of Westport has served generations of local families through every period of their lives from baby showers and wedding receptions to retirement parties and funeral repasts.
