A. J. Potter General Store, Central Village

In 1905 Abram Joy Potter ran the general store and post office in Central Village and also a stable and grain store where now exists Westport Lobster Company at junction of Adamsville and Main Roads. Potter lived in Westport until 1965 when he died at age 91.
